DVDA Announces New DVDA Brilliance Awards to debut at:

Over the years, the DVDA Excellence Awards have established themselves
as a premier DVD awards program. Traditionally, they are held in the
spring. We have had requests asking if we could change the entry rules
or to delay the Awards until later in the year. Additionally, we have
had requests to hold the awards in Europe.
Well, as you can
see from the headline, we have tackled both of these requests head-on.
We are proud to introduce the new DVDA Brilliance Awards, and issue an
immediate Call for Entries. We have made it very easy for you to
enter, you can even do it completely on-line.
The DVDA Brilliance Awards are entirely different from the DVDA Excellence Awards.
Brilliance Awards will be held in the fall and, unlike the Excellence
awards, are a direct competition with only one winning DVD in each
category.
DVDA Members naturally get a discount on entry
fees. If you are a not a member, you can get an Early Entry Discount,
by entering before August 1, 2006.
The Menu links are now active for the DVDA Brilliance Awards (in the Brilliance Awards 2006
menu, at left). We have posed the Rules and Conditions, the Entry Form
and the initial press release here on the site. In addition, there is
a link to make entry payment online via PayPal (even without a PayPal
account), and a link to download PDF award forms should you wish to use
them and fax in your entry.
