Chip Eberhart is the President of the Chicago Chapter of the DVD
Association, as well as the former president of the Chicago Final Cut Pro Users
Group, and has taught both DVD Authoring and Film Editing for over 5
years. Chip is a professional video and film editor who has used Apple
Final Cut Pro and Avid Media Composer on behalf of his clients
including McDonalds, Walmart, Tyson Foods, BMG Music, Warner Brothers
International, Sony, Sanctuary Records, WTTW, Avaya Labs, and many
more. Chip has taught video editing as well as DVD authoring at
Chicago’s Mac University for over 3 years, and has authored hundreds of
DVDs for film, music, corporate, and museum clients.
On the DVD front, Chip Eberhart has been recognized by Post Magazine as
one of the leading DVD authors in the country. Chip has been a featured
speaker on DVD technology at events such as MacWorld Expo, Design Pro
Expo, and the National Association of Broadcaster's (NAB) annual
convention.
Chip is a contributing writer for Post Magazine and was also a
technical editor for Desktop DVD Authoring by Doug Dixon and DVD Studio
Pro 2.0 (and the second version for 4.0) by Bruce Nazarian.
Finally, Chip has completed producing and directing his first
feature film, "The Unusual Suspects - Once Upon a Time in House Music",
with an expected release this summer...on DVD.
