- Disc Makers' Director of Business Development. Responsible for overseeing the company's strategic partnerships, potential acquisitions, as well as its film, tradeshow, and merch programs. (2003-present)
- Producer. Produced three CDs performed by the opera singer Elif Savas, including an enhanced CD featuring a book of fairy tales and opera songs, stories, and readings. (2000-present)
- Filmmaker. Produced and edited a documentary film about the Turkish military interventions and coups d'etat, Coup (Darbe), which received the NY Council on the Arts/ETVS' highest grant award. (2000)
- Founder, Philadelphia Music Conference. Started and ran an international music festival, working with many gold-record-selling artists such as Lisa Loeb, The Nixons, Phil Spector, and members of Nirvana, and is credited with discovering several major-label recording artists. (1992-1997)
- Education: Graduated the Wharton School of Business (BS, Economics) and the Annenberg School of Communications (BA, Communications) at the University of Pennsylvania. (1990)
- Personal interests:
Representing ideas from cognitive science and philosophy of mind in different artistic media. These include an oratorio, View from the Strangers' Gallery, and two song-cycles, Great Expectations and The Court Gossip; a play, Conducting Elif; two collections of poetry; and several short films and sculptures.
Exhibits and presentations:
- Gave a talk on DVD distribution, Slamdance Film Festival.
- Gave a talk on philosophy of mind at the Association for the Scientific Studies of Consciousness at CalTech.
- Presented his work at the SciArt festival in London and at the ASCI festival in New York.
- Art photography and short films exhibited throughout the country at art galleries, film festivals, and philosophy conferences.
