Dispatch from Cannes DVD big business at MIPTV Submitted April 14, 2005 By:Bernie Mitchell Today is Day Four of MIPTV. Here I am in sunny Cannes, France proudly wearing the DVDA colors and beret. The DVD Association was well represented and DVDs are now everywhere at MIPTV.
Once again we occupied the very beautiful DVD Club on the 3rd floor of the Palais de Festival. This is quickly becoming the place to conduct DVD business and as you can see from these pix the views are incredible.
We have 2 private screening rooms and a number of tables and sofas for those critical conversations.
Many DVD Association members made the DVD Club their office at MIPTV.
Here is a pix of just a few of our members who enjoyed MIPTV Front row left to right: Cris Popenoe (NY Chapter), Aleen Stein (Board Member and NY Chapter) Back row left to right: Bernie Mitchell, Chip Eberhart (Chicago Chapter), Mitchell Norinsky (Chicago Chapter), Gerard Schmidt.
