The Palais de Festival is almost a ghost town this morning.  Hardly anyone is in their stands, I suspect most have already departed.  We are just shutting down the DVD Club for this year’s MIPTV.  So now we say “au revoir” to Cannes and “hello guv’nor” to London.  This coming Monday, the DVDA UK chapter is having a strategic planning meeting to set the agenda for the coming months.  I am looking forward to seeing all of the UK DVD’ers.  I hope you have enjoyed these dispatches.  Remember to join the DVDA at NAB coming up on April 23 as part of our continuing education about Next Gen DVD (various flavors of Hi-Def) and UMD.  For details click on box to the right.  See y’all in Las Vegas.  You will easily recognize me, I will be the one most jet lagged, with the beret!
