Our DVDA-LA Meeting July 27th was a resounding success!
DVDA-LA wants to again thank all of you who attended

Our sincere DVDA-LA thanks to Cinea Division of Dolby Labs, our host Russ Chesley,  and our eminent presenter Geoff Tully. If you didn't make THIS meeting, you missed a great presentation of CINEA's S-VIEW and S-TRACK, the SECURE encryption and watermarking schemes for DVD (they really work!), and a great time schmoozing with your DVD compatriots from far and wide). We even had a few guests from out of town - (did you spot Jim Taylor? Our DVDA Chairman was there in person!)  - all in all, a MOST interesting evening! If you didn't stay to the end, you missed our "goodies" giveaway, where everyone was a winner! Come next month and stay informed.

Once again, DVDA-LA sponsored a "DVD Mixer" to meet and greet DVD compatriots in the LA area. Our sincere DVDA thanks to Deluxe Digital Services, our host Randy Berg,  and our guest presenter Jeff McDermott. If you didn't make it, you missed a great time yacking with DVD folks from all over LA (and even a few ringers from out of town!), a great presentation of HD DVD (Bourne Supremacy), and a tour of the Deluxe "mini-plant" - their in-house replication facility for SD, HD, BD - a MOST interesting evening!
